| 2011 IFRS Train the Trainers Workshop |
| 2011 IFRS Train the Trainers Workshop, hosted by the ARDF, was held on 3-4 August 2011. During this workshop, Mr. Michael Wells, the director of IFRS Education Initiative of IFRS Foundation, talked about “A Framework-based approach to teaching IFRSs” and “A Framework-based approach to understanding IFRSs.” He and Mr. Wayne Upton, the chairman of International Financial Reporting Interpretations Committee, jointly presented the main requirement of IFRSs. Mr. Upton further introduced the main requirements of newly revised/published IFRS 9 and 13. This workshop aimed to help all the IFRS teachers to absorb the essence of IFRS teaching methodology, as well as extensive knowledge about the principles of IFRSs. |
